Hi everyone!!!!!!! How are you doing??? I’ve missed you all!!!! I know I haven’t been really active but I promise this will change from the next week!!! So for today my book review is about Quanta Reset by Lola Dodge!
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with a copy in exchange for a honest review!!!
I reviewed Quanta a few weeks ago and this is the next book in the series!! In this book Quanta is finally free from her prison and the constant experiments but things aren’t going very well for her. Her powers are getting more out of her control and the only thing she wants is to live her life like a normal girl!
Quanta and Tair are back with Lady Eva and the rest of the Shadow Ravens trying to use Quantas powers to prevent them from getting captured by the Seligo. But the thing is Quanta can’t get near anyone without being overwhelmed by visions of their past, present and future. And the most concerning thing is that while she is destabilizing, ahe could mentally explode at any time, there is a clone with her powers that willingly uses her power to hunt down Shadow Ravens and other Red Helixes.
We get to meet more Reds and Cipher! I actually really liked her and I’m thinking about reading the book with Cipher and Hunter’s story. Also, Tair is kidnapped and he is living with Clone – Quanta, his programming making him experience the same things he experienced with Quanta the first time…but he knows it isn’t really her.
Quanta while trying to save Tair meats another Red with powers but her ability to control her powers is rapidly fading…..
So, it was a good book but I have some “complains” I found it a little bit slow at some points. I know that Quanta destabilizing made her weak but I didn’t like the fact that she was constantly depending on Tair for everything. I missed the free funny and most importantly independent Quanta from the first book.
I would really like to read the next book considering the end of this one. It left some things unanswered and I think we will take back the first-book Quanta!!!
I decided after my way-too-long review on Six of Crows, to keep this short!!! That is for today!!!! See you on my next review!!!!
